About the Position

Travel RN – Adult Psychiatric – Kansas City, MO 64130

Shift: Nights, 7P–7A, 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week (guaranteed option available)
Scheduling: Coverage required across three 12-hour shifts/day, 7 days a week, including weekends — days off are not guaranteed unless specified in the contract
Documentation System: Meditech
On-Call: None

Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Psychiatric RN to join a multi-unit behavioral health facility supporting adolescent, adult, and senior psychiatric populations. Units include:

• ADOL (18 beds) – ages 12–18
• Serenity (24 beds) – lower-acuity adult unit
• ITU (32 beds) – higher-acuity adult unit (thought disorder diagnoses)
• SRAD (16 beds) – senior lifestyle population
• VINE (9 beds) – lower-acuity adult unit

Patient ratios are 8:1 for RNs and 12:1 for MHTs. Floating is utilized based on greatest need across units (per the facility's C/L staffing model).
