What You'll Do

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments to patients with physical disorders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Utilize evidence-based techniques including manual therapy, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
• Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards
• Participate in patient care conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions
• Support and supervise students under supervision of the Physical Therapist
• Ensure compliance with state and national practice acts, ethics, and professional conduct

What You Need

• Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Prior experience in a long-term care or similar setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and clinical judgment
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
