Associate Scientist, Sample Logistics

Associate Scientist supporting Sample Logistics operations within Pfizer's Vaccine Research and Development division. Responsible for receiving, tracking, storing, and distributing clinical trial samples while maintaining GXP compliance and regulatory documentation standards. Responsibilities
Receive clinical trial samples and enter data into electronic database management systems
Execute sample storage, retrieval, aliquoting, and distribution to testing laboratories
Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and clinical lab supply requests
Operate manual freezers and BiOS automated storage systems; assist with Hamilton robotic instrument maintenance
Author and maintain laboratory manuals for clinical trial site training and ensure cGMP/GLP documentation compliance
Requirements
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in a scientific discipline
0–3 years pharmaceutical industry experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work collaboratively in team settings
Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot
Comfort working with bodily fluids and live microorganisms in laboratory environment
Compensation: $60,200–$100,400 base annual salary
