Job Description

Join a vital healthcare team in a busy surgical environment where your skills in both general and specialized surgeries, including GI procedures, will be highly valued. Work in a well-equipped hospital setting with a supportive staff as we search for permanent physicians. This ongoing assignment is anticipated to continue until the end of December 2026 and requires an active NC medical license.

• Perform required surgeries including appendectomies, hernioplasties, and cholecystectomies.
• Engage in laparoscopic and minor orthopedic procedures.
• Conduct GI endoscopies, including colonoscopies and sigmoidoscopies, preferably.
• Execute breast surgeries and, if qualified, vascular surgery procedures.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records with MRN documentation for overtime and call-backs.

• Active NC medical license with a clean history.
• Board Certification required.
• Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS.
• Fellowship training required.

• Days, specific hours to be confirmed during the hiring process.

• Proficiency in both adult and pediatric general surgeries.
• Preferred skills in trauma, head/neck surgery, and endoscopic procedures.
• Ability to manage surgical instruments and technologies effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities for a collaborative operating room environment.
