Direct Support Professional (Day Program)

Position Overview Direct Support Professional at Devereux (Bridgeton, NJ). Salary: Starting at $20.42, increases with education and experience. Schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Location: Bridgeton, New Jersey. Responsibilities Ensure program participants are safe and healthy during the day program. Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in achieving goals related to daily living skills such as food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and shopping. Supervise the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet participants’ social, emotional, physical, and personal needs. Plan and participate in community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings. Schedule and transport participants to and from the day program. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Valid non‑provisional driver’s license. Minimum age 18 years. Availability for ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
