Supply Chain Clerk (Airway)

Supply Chain Clerk

Avid Bioservices is a leading clinical and commercial biologics CDMO focused on creating innovative solutions to meet the needs of our clients and improve patient outcomes. Your Role: The Supply Chain Clerk is responsible for Inventory Control management for Avid Bioservices.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and document inventory controls and procedures in accordance with Accounting and cGMP standards
  • Monitor all materials for re-order points, recommend adjustments to re-order points if needed for each raw material
  • Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, manufacturing, and other departments under cGMP standards, including the movement from quarantine to available raw materials
  • Maintain and update SOP's pertaining to raw material tracking as needed
  • Responsible for the reinforcement of cGMP aspects of a pharmaceutical warehouse
  • Perform physical inventory counts on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis as needed
  • Organize all raw materials in an easy to locate and count fashion
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate tracking of issued raw materials
  • Responsible for backing up to receiving personnel
  • Cross-train in receiving, packaging and shipping
  • Assist with functions such as issuing vials, finished product inventory, labeling, flash freezing and GMP shipments with QA oversight
  • Maintain all required documentation and controlled forms
  • Other duties may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate: Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is desired, but not required.
  • Experience in roles that involve inventory management or customer service is desired
  • Valid CA Driver's license, good driving record and verification of current insurance

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This role is a full-time onsite position operating Monday through Friday on a 5x8 (5 days x 8 hours) schedule in our Costa Mesa, CA location. Must be available to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays if needed.

Compensation: We offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, equity grants, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. The compensation range for this role is $16.68 to $22.26 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications. Physical Demands & Work Environment: In this dynamic role, expect a blend of regular activities like sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional physically engaging tasks such as lifting objects up to 20 pounds. The work environment might expose you to electrical shocks, toxic chemicals, vibrations, or loud noise levels occasionally. However, reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with different abilities to perform effectively, ensuring a supportive and adaptable work setting. Your visual acuity, including close, distance, and color vision, will be essential in navigating through the diverse day-to-day demands of this position.
