This role is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and overall performance of the service department for the assigned branch. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Lead and oversee the daily operations of service department, including service repairs and customer service. Manage and develop technicians within the assigned branch. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, escalations, and support needs. Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring safety practices and procedures are being followed. Ensure the showroom, shop, yard, and equipment are clean, organized, and well maintained. Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative workplace culture. Service Department Schedule and prioritize equipment repairs to meet customer timelines and maximize technician productivity. Ensure work orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. Coordinate shop workflow and communicate clearly with customers regarding service status. Ensure customer and company equipment is kept in good condition. Regularly evaluate all service equipment & tool needs and propose solutions. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience in a shop environment. Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience. Hands‑on heavy construction equipment experience is strongly preferred. Experience with parts or rental operations is a plus. Working knowledge of specific mechanical training with demonstrated ability to motivate and lead. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Physical Requirements This position requires but is not limited to standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.
