Role Description This part-time, on-site Tax Preparer role is based in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area. The Tax Preparer will prepare individual and business tax returns, gather and review client financial information, and ensure filings comply with current tax laws and regulations. Daily tasks include organizing documentation, identifying potential deductions and credits, and assisting with basic tax planning recommendations. The role also involves collaborating with accounting staff on related bookkeeping and financial records, maintaining accurate workpapers, and communicating clearly with clients about filing requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Tax Preparation and Tax to accurately prepare and review returns for individuals and businesses.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Tax Law to interpret regulations, apply current rules, and support compliance with federal, state, and local authorities.
• Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Financial Statements to understand client financial data, analyze records, and support basic accounting activities.
