Successful completion of background, drug, and reference checks required!Responsibilities:Manage designated segments of the monthly close through completion within the published timelineDevelop and record advanced journal entries covering estimates, timing adjustments, and cost allocationsComplete periodic general ledger reconciliations and substantiate each balance with organized documentationExamine period-over-period fluctuations and articulate the operational factors behind themAdminister close calendars, task trackers, and hand-off protocols as the function continues to scaleEvaluate the close cycle for inefficiencies and propose remedies that reduce turnaround while preserving accuracyProvide a final quality review of monthly financial results prior to distribution to leadershipApply GAAP and internal policy consistently, maintaining control requirements throughout each cycleCompile recurring reporting packages along with the underlying supporting schedulesPrepare audit deliverables and respond to inquiries from internal and external reviewersAdvance assigned workstreams through the annual close and preparation of year-end financial statementsCoordinate with departments outside of accounting to obtain the inputs required for a complete closeRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required4+ years of accounting experience across public, industry, or a combination of both preferredCPA (can be in progress) and/or MBA preferredDemonstrated hands-on ownership of close activitiesProven capacity to manage concurrent deadlines without compromising accuracyAdvanced Excel proficiency, including large data set analysis and account substantiationWorking knowledge of a large-scale ERP platformEffective communicator capable of engaging confidently with non-financial stakeholdersCollaborative, even-tempered approach and a genuine team-first orientationWhy You'll Love Working Here:Genuine team-first culture within a highly supportive environmentDefined promotional path into a management role for a strong performerDirect exposure to leadership and broad visibility across the accounting functionLeadership that recognizes and rewards employees who go above and beyondSolid benefits packageINDLPJOB#23112 #J-18808-Ljbffr Taylor White
