Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient

Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8-hour day shifts

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• Current ONS Chemotherapy Certification (required)
• Immunotherapy Provider Certificate (preferred)
• Recent oncology infusion experience
• EPIC experience with Beacon required
• BLS & ACLS certifications required
• Previous experience mentoring, precepting, or educating infusion nurses strongly preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy infusions to patients.
• Educate and mentor newly hired Oncology and Chemotherapy Infusion RNs.
• Ensure compliance with established protocols and best practices in oncology care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and effectiveness of treatments.
• Provide patient education regarding chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments.
