Product Lead

You will be the Sapphire Product Lead for the Sapphire Product Line. Our team is responsible for establishing production designs and factory capacities for the entire Sapphire Product Line, managing design/fabrication/qualification of new test and manufacturing equipment, and delivering all nonrecurring activities associated with upcoming deliveries and ramps.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Sapphire Product Lead you will be responsible for leading crossfunctional teams to ensure ontime, highrateready product designs and to build the infrastructure needed for successful product launches.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and supplychain partners to release designs on schedule.


• Oversee the design, fabrication, and qualification of new test and manufacturing equipment across multiple sites.


• Establish and scale factory capacities to meet production rate targets.


• Manage all nonrecurring activities tied to product deliveries and rampup phases.


• Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and infrastructure to support longterm product success.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
- Previous participation in production ramp of complex electrical/mechanical/optical systems
- Previous participation in new system design and development
- Familiarity in Engineering release processes and tools
- Familiarity with MRP systems
-Experience in capital planning, acquisition, and execution
-Must be able to obtain a security clearance
-Must be able to travel (typically monthly)
Desired Skills:
-Previous Program or Project Management experience
-Deep Understanding of MRP systems
-Ability to build complex integrated plans schedules
-Previous Programmatic experience in either MFC or RMS
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
