Company Description Mancini’s Bakery is a well-known Italian bakery serving the Pittsburgh, PA area with fresh, high-quality breads and baked goods. Recognized for its Italian bread, twist bread, and pepperoni rolls, the bakery has built a strong local reputation over many years. As a Pennsylvania-based bakery, Mancini’s focuses on traditional recipes and consistent quality to meet the expectations of customers and retail partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating staff assignments, monitoring equipment and oven performance, managing inventory levels of ingredients, and verifying adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures. The supervisor is expected to lead and support team members, address operational issues that arise during the shift, and communicate key updates to management. This role also involves tracking production output, reducing waste, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment throughout the shift.

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and basic quality control practices in a commercial kitchen or production setting.
Strong organizational and time management skills to coordinate workflows, staffing, and production schedules.
Effective communication skills to provide clear instructions, feedback, and shift handoffs to team members and management.
Ability to work reliably on 3rd shift, including standing for extended periods, lifting materials as needed, and operating within a busy production floor.
