Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Location: Northeast Kingdom, Vermont

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, with three 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week, including every other weekend.

Job Description: Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and be at the forefront of coordinating exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients. Your expertise will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in the dynamic general Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with a talented group of professionals to meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population, utilizing the innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic patient care that addresses age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
• Coordinate with the Unit Director and collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor.
• Utilize the Nursing Process for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience required.
• Preference for candidates with Meditech experience.
• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
