Maintenance Technician

Our Real Estate team is looking for a Maintenance Technician to help with a lot of the "heavy lifting" for day‑to‑day tasks in and around our 200,000 sqft building and 17-acre campus. We are looking for someone able to work 30 hours or more each week between the hours of 8am-6pm Monday-Friday. What you will do: As assigned by the Facility Maintenance Manager; perform routine preventative maintenance on various equipment and machinery to ensure the health and safety of all employees Install and maintain office furnishings, materials and equipment Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective actions to prevent equipment failures by reporting to the Maintenance Manager Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to established safety protocols and housekeeping standards May be required to operate various tools and equipment in the performance of their duties What you will bring: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of experience in a maintenance role or relevant job Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is preferred Ability to problem solve and repair a variety of equipment Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs or more when moving furniture or heavy equipment Awardco is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
