Exciting Float Pool RN Opportunity!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Position: Float Pool RN
- Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
- Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st timers accepted
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vital sign checks and blood glucose checks
- Float to all MS, MS/Tele, and PCU units within the hospital
- Manage diverse patient diagnoses including all potential MS, MS Tele, and PCU conditions

Unit Details:
- Ratios:
- 1:4-5 in PCU
- 1:5-6 in MS, MS Tele
- Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Float Required: Yes
- Weekends: Average of 6 weekends in a 13-week contract
- Orientation Hours: 24
- Compliance: Full compliance is required to start on time

Skills and Experience:
- Charting System Experience: Epic required
- Preferred Charge Experience
- Experience with various patient care protocols, including but not limited to:
- Arterial line management
- Cardiovascular telemetry
- Non-invasive airway management
- Tracheostomy care/management

Team and Support:
- Work alongside an interdisciplinary support team
- Collaborate with Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and more
