Registered Nurse Instructor (RN) Bilingual (Mandarin/Cantonese), Home Care (LHCSA)

FlexStaff is seeking a bilingual (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) Registered Nurse (RN) with experience and strong knowledge of LHCSA regulations to work full-time as a Nurse Instructor for our client, a certified home care agency, located in Brooklyn, NY. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Permanent Position. This position focuses on teaching the New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification Program and requires frequent travel within Brooklyn and Queens. Key Position Requirements:

• License: Active NYS RN License.
• Language: Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a licensed home care

agency.

• Travel: Ability to travel within Queens and Brooklyn, NY
• Compensation: $115,000 annually

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: * Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of home care aides (HHA/PCA) skills and competency * Provide in-service training and continuing education (infection control, safety, HIPAA, etc.) * Orient and educate new aides on agency policies, documentation, and patient care standards * Perform supervisory visits in the home and document aide performance and care issues * Develop/update training materials and competency checklists per DOH/regulatory requirements * Remediate performance gaps and implement corrective action plans with clinical leadership * Support aide certification/annual requirements (TB, physicals, renewals, attendance tracking) * Collaborate with coordinators/HR to ensure staffing readiness and compliance for cases * Maintain required records for audits and surveys (training logs, evaluations, competencies)
