Compensation: 100,000-110,000

TalentSource360 is seeking a rising Real Estate Asset Management Analyst to join a client in northern VA supporting their Asset Management function. In this role, the Analyst will provide performance, optimization, and strategic oversight of a diverse real estate portfolio. This role will play a key part in financial modeling, asset-level analysis, and executive reporting, helping drive data-informed decisions across operations, investments, and portfolio strategy.

The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and a foundational understanding of real estate asset management across asset classes such as multifamily, hospitality, mixed-use, or retail.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Analyze operating results and key performance indicators (KPIs) across the portfolio to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
\n
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting processes for assigned assets
\n
• Prepare and deliver recurring and ad hoc reporting packages for senior leadership and investors
\n
• Partner with property management and operations teams to monitor performance and implement value-enhancing initiatives
\n
• Assist in underwriting acquisitions, dispositions, and capital improvement projects
\n
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform asset strategy and positioning
\n
• Track and evaluate capital expenditures and ROI on improvement initiatives
\n
• Ensure data integrity across internal systems and reporting tools
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, real estate, economics, or a related field
\n
• 2+ years of experience in real estate asset management, acquisitions, investment analysis, or related field
\n
• Experience with one or more asset classes: multifamily, hospitality, mixed-use, or retail
\n
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; advanced proficiency in Excel required
\n
• Familiarity with real estate financial metrics and valuation methodologies
\n
• Experience with tools such as Argus, Yardi, or similar platforms is a plus
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders
\n
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
