Plant Facilities Technician

The plant facilities technician supports the operations of industrial plant by assisting engineers in the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant facilities systems and equipment. This role ensures that facilities machinery, processes, and safety systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in assessing the operational efficiency and functionality of plant facilities systems and machinery.
• Support the design, installation, and maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of equipment to ensure proper function and compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or performance issues; assist in troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Help develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with plant management and maintenance teams to improve plant performance and reduce operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to plant operations.
• Assist in implementing quality control and safety measures to prevent accidents.
• Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance, inspections, and safety checks.
• Support inventory management of tools, parts, and supplies for plant operations.
