About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join its executive leadership team. The COO will be instrumental in translating the CEO's strategic vision into daily operational execution, with a primary focus on the dealership's core functions, including sales, rental, service, parts, logistics, and fleet management. This role demands a seasoned operational leader with a proven track record in heavy equipment, construction machinery, or industrial distribution environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, implementing scalable processes and systems, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional performance. Strategic leadership, process improvement, team management, and a data-driven approach to decision-making are key aspects of the position. Applicants for the COO role at the company should have 10-15+ years of progressive leadership experience in a relevant industry, a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred), and a deep understanding of dealership operations. The role requires a leader with strong financial and operational analytics skills, exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities, and a hands-on yet strategic leadership style. The COO will also be involved in strategic growth initiatives, including market expansion, OEM relationship management, and the integration of acquired businesses. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing the full lifecycle of heavy equipment, from acquisition to fleet rotation, and will be committed to maintaining the company's reputation for customer service, technical expertise, and long-standing partnerships.
