Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Alarm Response Driver in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting financial institution and government locations, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms, and provide professional customer service. - Provide customer service to clients and visitors at financial institution and government locations by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior perimeters, parking areas, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
- Assist with directing visitors, reporting facility concerns, and supporting orderly operations in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
