Job Description

As a Security Officer Part Time Alarm Response Driver in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting financial institution and government locations, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms, and provide professional customer service. Pay Rate: $19.57 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at financial institution and government locations by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information through appropriate channels.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior perimeters, parking areas, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
Assist with directing visitors, reporting facility concerns, and supporting orderly operations in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
