Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Vehicle Patrol Driver in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
