Job Title – Registered Nurse – RN First Assist (RNFA)
Location – Taos, New Mexico 87571
Duration – 13 Weeks (06/08/2026 onward)
Shift – Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (09:00 AM – 05:30 PM)
Rotation – Yes (5x8 and/or optional 4x10 based on traveler/facility needs, no block scheduling)
Float – No
Call Requirement – Yes

Job Description
Registered Nurse – RNFA responsible for providing both first assist and circulator duties within a fast-paced operating room environment. The RNFA will support orthopedic, gynecology, general surgery, robotics, and urology procedures while ensuring patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols. Call responsibilities will primarily be for first assist coverage.

Requirements

• Active  RN License (New Mexico).
• RNFA certification/experience required.
• Previous recent  Operating Room / First Assist experience required.
• Experience with  orthopedic, GYN, general surgery, robotics, and urology cases required
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System required.
• C-section experience preferred
• AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS/CRNFA all certifications required.
