School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) | Dover, New Hampshire

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting, working closely with students, educators, and therapists from ASAP through June 2027. Youll collaborate with a welcoming team dedicated to student growth and development, all within a structured Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 35 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current COTA certification and licensure (or eligibility) in New Hampshire
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings preferred
• Familiarity with IEP implementation and documentation
• Comfortable supporting students with diverse needs in a middle school environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an educational team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy intervention to middle school students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Support students participation in classroom and school activities through tailored therapeutic strategies
• Document student progress and assist with evaluation reports in a timely manner
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to deliver comprehensive care
• Assist with the development and implementation of student IEP goals
• Promote inclusion and independence for students with varying abilities
