Cardiology Patient Service Representative Baystate Health, Western Massachusetts's premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region is looking for a Full-time Patient Service Representative to join our experienced Cardiology team in Northampton, MA. Responsibilities: Baystate Health's Patient Service Representatives perform a variety of different tasks throughout the day. This includes greeting patients, check in and check out and requesting copays. Responsibilities also include verifying insurances, answering telephones and faxing medical documents. Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours a week Monday through Friday, 8:30-5pm No weekends, No holidays Location: 325 King St. Northampton, MA Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, required At least 6 months in a medical office setting, preferred Great interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment a MUST Medical terminology, keyboard, Microsoft office products, schedule systems, medical records (electronic and paper), billing, basic math, language, reading and writing, customer service The Advantages Of Working With Baystate! Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
