You arrive at your first client's home, greet the pet parent and bring their pet into a quiet, cage-free mobile grooming environment. There aren't three other dogs waiting for you. The phone isn't ringing. Nobody is walking in asking for a nail trim. You're not bouncing between pets or being pulled away from the groom. You focus on one pet at a time, complete the groom, return the pet to their family and head to your next appointment. A typical full day is approximately 46 pets, depending on breed, size, coat and services. Our goal isn't to push as many pets through your day as possible. It's to build a schedule that allows you to produce great work, earn a strong income and provide the experience each pet deserves. At the end of your route, you're done. Pets First. Always. We're looking for groomers who recognize when a pet needs patience, know when something isn't right, communicate honestly with pet parents, and take pride in doing things the right way. You'll have the independence experienced groomers value, with a team behind you when you need support. What We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced professional groomer who still loves the craft but may be ready for a different environment. You should have: 2+ years of professional grooming experience Formal grooming training or equivalent professional experience Experience grooming a wide variety of breeds, coat types and styles Strong pet-handling and safety skills Excellent communication and customer-service skills Strong time-management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage your day Dependability and a professional approach to your work A valid driver's license with an exceptionally clean driving record this is non-negotiable Cat grooming experience is a plus, but not required. No mobile grooming experience is required. If you're an experienced salon groomer, we'll help you make the transition to mobile.
