Position Overview

We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become an integral part of our expanding team that is committed to delivering outstanding patient care. You will harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, collaborate closely with a compassionate team of healthcare providers, and offer comfort to patients through precise and timely imaging.

Responsibilities Overview

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure by explaining every step with empathy and clarity
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring clinicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Accurately document all procedures and maintain thorough patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education and Certification Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Necessary Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
