SUMMARY: The Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney will have 5 to 7 years of experience handling the preparation and trial of insurance defense coverage and defense litigation in federal and state courts in New York. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to have extensive client contact while joining a growing and collaborative team. Partnership track opportunities are unmatched at this firm.
REQUIREMENTS:
- JD required
- Admitted to practice in NY State required; NJ bar admission is also desirable
- Must have a min of 5 years’ experience in insurance defense litigation
- Strong client management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively and diplomatically
- Ability to remain calm and function under pressure in a constantly changing environment with highly confidential information
- Ability to collaborate with all levels and multiple departments
- Detail oriented with strong day-to-day organizational skills
- Ability to be proactive, prioritize work and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
