Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide high-quality emergency care in a dynamic hospital environment. The role involves managing acute patient needs, performing clinical procedures, and ensuring patient safety during shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Assess patient conditions, prioritize treatments, and develop care plans.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and document clinical interventions accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate smooth department operations.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, and patient safety protocols.
• Float within hospital departments or to affiliate facilities as required, following established policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NM or compact state nursing license in good standing.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent ER experience.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC is required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Cerner charting or similar electronic medical record systems.
• Be able to work rotating night shifts, including 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
• Be willing to work some holidays and have RTO requests included at submission.
