Role Description:
This is a full-time year-round position for an Experienced Service Electrician for our Service and small projects division. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairs and replacement of existing electrical systems and equipment. The Electrician will need a strong background in troubleshooting, and tracing electrical circuitry, and electrical situations, all while ensuring compliance with National Electrical code (NEC) and with all safety regulations.


Qualification for Service Van Electrician:

• Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, repairs, replacement, troubleshooting, and tracing electrical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, electrical equipment, electrical materials, testing equipment.
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Strong experience with hand and power tools.
• Excell in problem solving of electrical system.
• Must have customer relation skills, (will need to interact with clients, and customers).
• Strong attention to NEC and safety details.
• The ability to work independently and as a team member of the Service Division.
• Must have valid State of Maryland Journeymen License or certifications
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a clean Maryland State driver's license.
• Must be able to pass Maryland State drug test.
• Must be able to teach and train helpers, and apprentices assigned to the service van to assist the Electrician.

Schedule and benefits:

• This is a day shift position Service Van Mechanic Service Van hours are typical 7:00 am, until 3:30 pm with half hour lunch.
• This is a Monday thru Friday position.
• In some cases a night shift may be needed.
• Weekend may be required back on the client and customer's needed.
• Since this is a Services Van position, candidates will have a rotating on Call week (currently once every two months).

Salary:
The base salary for this position will range from $35 to $40 per hour based on experience.
