PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER

Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM

Olsten Staffing Services is currently hiring Production Assemblers for a manufacturing facility in North Myrtle Beach. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals with good hand dexterity and a strong work ethic to join a fast-paced production environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and follow wire harness and cable assembly instructions.
  
• Route, wire, and assemble electronic components using wire layout boards.
  
• Perform hand assembly according to detailed work instructions.
  
• Operate semi-automatic equipment, including crimp presses, wire twisters, and wire strippers.
  
• Perform functional and continuity testing on wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
  
• Use a soldering iron to solder wires to connectors.
  
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished products.
  
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and production standards.
  
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous assembly or production experience preferred, but not required.
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  
• Excellent hand dexterity and ability to work with small parts.
  
• Basic math and communication skills.
  
• Positive attitude and dependable work ethic.
  
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality procedures.
  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to sit for extended periods.
  
• Frequently lift up to 20 lbs.
  
• Ability to accurately distinguish wire colors.
  
• Perform frequent pushing and pulling of up to 10 lbs.
  
• Ability to work with small components and perform repetitive hand movements.
  
• Ability to maintain attention to detail throughout the workday.

Pay Details: $14.00 per hour
