ASCP Medical Technologist / Technician - Full-Time
MLee Healthcare is searching for a highly skilled Medical Technologist will conduct a range of laboratory tests and procedures essential for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in clinical laboratory science, strong analytical abilities, and a dedication to upholding rigorous standards of quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Laboratory Testing: Conduct complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological tests.
- Quality Control: Perform and document quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Sample Analysis: Analyze body fluids, tissues, and other substances using advanced laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Data Interpretation: Interpret test results and correlate laboratory findings with clinical data to assist healthcare providers in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Certification: ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of laboratory safety standards and regulatory requirements.
