Job Title: Shear Operator

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Production Workers to operate shear machines. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process by operating shear equipment to cut titanium sheets to precise customer specifications. This position is on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. No prior shear or machine operating experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lift, position, and align titanium sheets with team members.
• Inspect materials for defects and quality issues.
• Measure material thickness using micrometers and gauges.
• Operate shear machines to cut materials to specifications.
• Perform basic machine setup and monitor equipment operation.
• Conduct minor machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Follow safety and production procedures.
• Work as part of a team to meet production goals.

• Ability to stand and work on your feet throughout the shift.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Interest in a long-term manufacturing career.

• Manufacturing or production experience is helpful but not required.
• General labor experience.
• Restaurant, retail, or other hands-on work experience welcomed.
• Experience using measuring tools is a plus.

• Warehouse and manufacturing facility.
• Non-climate-controlled environment that can become very hot.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, MO.

The pay range for this position is $20.22 - $20.22/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
