The ideal candidate will have experience working in a commercial or industrial setting and possess a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildingsRead and interpret blueprints and schematicsTroubleshoot electrical problems and implement solutionsPerform electrical installations, repairs, and upgradesAdhere to safety practices and proceduresWork independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budgetProvide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitudeRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentCompletion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent trainingJourneyman Electrician license preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial or industrial settingAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsKnowledge of local and national electrical codesStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamExcellent customer service skillsGood communication skillsPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed during the workday.Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.Ability to safely navigate construction sites, including uneven surfaces and ladders.Must be able to use hand tools and power tools required for electrical tasks.Ability to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, etc.).Must be able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.Owen Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer #OEC
