Heavy Equipment / Diesel Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager will oversee the repair and reliability of heavy-duty scrap metal processing machinery and a large fleet of commercial trucks. Core responsibilities include: Equipment & Fleet Maintenance: Leading the repair of diesel trucks, trailers, stationary machinery, and heavy mobile equipment (like balers, shredders, and hydraulic systems). Preventative Programs: Developing cost-effective maintenance schedules to minimize production downtime and keep operations running safely. Team Leadership: Training and coaching mechanics, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing parts inventory and department budgets. Safety Compliance: Ensuring all maintenance tasks adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) federal and state laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr I.K.
