Diesel Mechanic

A diesel mechanic maintains and repairs the company’s fleet of heavy-duty diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy mobile equipment (such as loaders, material handlers, and forklifts). They work in both shop environments and in the field to minimize equipment downtime. Core responsibilities include: Diagnostics and Repair: Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, and cooling systems. Preventative Maintenance: Performing routine services like oil and filter changes, lubrication, and safety inspections. Metal Fabrication: Performing light welding, torch cutting, and structural repairs on trailers, sub-frames, and recycling containers. Inventory & Compliance: Ordering parts, tracking maintenance records, and ensuring all repairs comply with SA Recycling's strict environmental and safety regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr I.K.
