This is a HYBRID position, 4 DAYS A WEEK at client sites in the Edison, NJ area. We are looking to add an Associate Client Director to our Customer Success team. As an Associate Client Director, you will serve as a trust partner, delivering compelling, thoughtful, action‑oriented analysis across a major retail client account. You will build client relationships, understand the retail value chain, and drive insights that spark provocative conversations. Additionally, you will lead a team of Client Managers, ACMs, and Analysts, guiding and coaching them to help clients analyze data through the use of NIQ tools and services. You will also drive the CS Industry Insights mission, ensuring on‑target delivery of team KPIs. Job Description Own CS Industry Insights mission for your team through the delivery of insights, analysis, and thought leadership. Maintain and build productive business relationships with key client contacts, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. Align with account teams to advance account strategy and commercial objectives. Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring the team delivers best‑in‑class analyses and impactful insights. Be a bilingual (CPS+RMS) team leader/strategist: Demonstrate an everyday consumer‑driven marketing culture. Probe and provoke clients to ask more insightful business questions about consumer behavior. Generate leads (upsell contracts, ad‑hoc, CAS) and continuously guide and coach the team in utilizing and visualizing the most relevant data for developing strategically impactful presentations full of insights and proactive recommendations. Oversee delivery quality and adherence to SLAs. Qualifications 7–10+ years of experience in the CPG industry and/or related sales, category management, and market research. Strong analytical mindset, storytelling capability, excellent numerical skills, and the ability to generate recommendations that drive client strategy. Prior experience with NielsenIQ (or similar) solutions preferred in the analytics space, including POS/Panel data. Proficiency in pulling, analyzing, and incorporating all NIQ data sources relevant to the client(s) – i.e., RMS, Homescan, Omni, Spectra, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adaptable and polished in diverse settings. Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. A team‑oriented, detail‑focused mindset paired with strong project management capabilities. Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes while managing multiple priorities. Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams. BA/BS required; Master's degree a plus. Salary and Benefits Market‑competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation ranging from $99,000 to $126,000. Compensation varies based on experience, qualifications, and location. The role may also be eligible for a sales‑based incentive or performance‑based bonus.
