Job Duties

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and devise tailored therapy strategies to help them meet their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Engage in evidence-based practices to promote patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily activities.
• Foster Team Collaboration: Work in harmony with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Equip patients and their relatives with knowledge and techniques to support ongoing progress outside of therapy.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust strategies as necessary, ensuring patients remain on track toward their goals.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Pursuit of continuing education or advanced certifications is encouraged and supported

Required Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
