Job Responsibilities

Design Tailored Therapy Programs: Assess individual needs and create personalized plans that empower patients to meet their functional objectives

Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ proven methodologies to improve motor skills, cognition, and activities of daily living

Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Team up with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of wellness

Educate Patients and Families: Teach effective therapy methods to patients and their families to promote continuous growth at home

Document and Evaluate Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment procedures as necessary, ensuring patients remain on the right path

Educational Background

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

Continued education or additional certifications welcomed and incentivized

Required Certifications

Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license

NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
