Experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) – Suffolk County

$19.65–$23.00 per Hour | Per Diem | Weekly Pay

Affirmed Home Care is actively seeking experienced, New York State Certified Home Health Aides for per diem opportunities throughout Suffolk County.

We understand that many experienced caregivers work with more than one agency or need flexibility when choosing cases. That's why we're looking to connect qualified HHAs with opportunities that match their availability and preferred areas whenever possible.

Your Role as an HHA

You'll work directly with clients in their homes, helping them remain comfortable, safe, and independent.

Depending on the client's care plan, responsibilities may include:

• Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living

• Bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance

• Meal preparation

• Light housekeeping

• Medication reminders

• Companionship

• Mobility assistance

• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition

Requirements

ACTIVE NEW YORK STATE HOME HEALTH AIDE (HHA) CERTIFICATE REQUIRED

Applicants should also have:

• At least one year of Home Health Aide experience

• Current physical examination

• Current PPD or QuantiFERON documentation, or applicable chest X-ray documentation

• MMR documentation

• Authorization to work in the United States

• Professional and dependable communication

• Ability to provide compassionate, reliable care

Drivers are encouraged to apply, but having a vehicle is NOT required.
