Knife River Southern Idaho Division has an opening for a Ready-Mix Sales Manager position based out of our Boise Division.

Job Description :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a
strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the ready-mix concrete industry.
Position may require managing of aggregate and asphalt sales as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals.
• Oversee Ready-Mix sales staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support.
• Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Facilitate pre-construction, construction and post-construction meetings with appropriate internal staff as demanded by the
complexity of projects awarded.
• Follow through on customer satisfaction on jobs awarded. Monitor product quality during delivery and installation.
• Keep up to speed with trends in the ready-mix concrete industry.
• Some travel to be expected.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction or ready-mix concrete industry.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Proficient knowledge of concrete and related materials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have the ability to establish rapport with a wide variety of personality types and accept rejection.
• A neat, professional appearance and good driving record are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. (or Equivalent Experience)
• Proficient computer skills required.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with short deadlines.
