Data Reporting & Analytics Intern

Position Overview Our focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices — every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors, and communities. As an Intern at C&S, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the wholesale grocery industry, contribute to meaningful projects, and better understand what goes into running one of the largest privately held companies in the US. Job Description Compensation $20-21 per hour. Location: Windsor Locks, CT. Schedule: Hybrid. Full‑time, 10–12 week summer internship from June to August 2026. Assist in daily operations and administrative tasks within the assigned department. Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency. Attend meetings, take notes, and contribute ideas and insights. Aid in further enhancing department tools, templates, and methodologies. Gain exposure and knowledge of department functionalities. Develop positive professional relationships across departments. Complete special projects as assigned by your manager. Deliver an end‑of‑internship presentation to showcase learning outcomes. Enhance Existing Reports: review team dashboards and reports to improve clarity, speed, and accuracy; update workflows and identify automation opportunities. Support Employee Listening Surveys: process and organize survey data, identify trends, summarize comments, and draft simple charts. Assist with Internal Requests: answer questions and handle feedback from internal stakeholders, troubleshoot minor issues, and translate business questions into data solutions. Gain hands‑on experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and potentially Tableau and Alteryx. Collaborate with business partners such as Operations, HRIS, and HRBP. In good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or better. Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing at the time of the internship. Majoring in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related fields. Proficient with Google’s suite of products (preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinker who can solve problems. Team player who can also work independently. Organized and detail‑oriented. Applicants for employment in the United States must have work authorization that does not require, now or in the future, sponsorship of a visa.
