Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Telemetry Nursing, located in the region, is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to support their acute care unit focused on cardiac, neurological, and stroke patients. This role involves providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment, with an emphasis on telemetry monitoring, medication titration, and patient assessments. Job Details: Position Description: The unit provides patient care for individuals with cardiac, neurological, and seizure diagnoses. Certification requirements include Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Experience in neurological care and the ability to titrate medications such as Amiodarone, Heparin, Insulin, and Cardizem are required. Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a telemetry setting, and ability to work a 12-hour shift, 36 hours per week, starting on 11/09/2026 through 02/08/2027. Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: The unit maintains nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5 during day shifts and 1:6 during evening shifts. There is a float requirement, and on-call duty may be assigned as a last resort. Orientation includes three shifts, and staff are required to wear navy blue scrubs. Telemetry monitoring is performed via virtual systems, with nurses responsible for reading their own cardiac strips.
