Food Service Worker – Commack Public Schools

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, primarily 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
Hours: Approximately 25–30 hours per week
Location: Suffolk County, NY

Talent Link Group is currently hiring Food Service Workers to support public school cafeterias throughout Suffolk County.

This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for a consistent daytime schedule that follows school hours. Most positions run approximately 8:00 AM–2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no evening shifts.

Responsibilities

Assist with basic food preparation and meal service
Serve meals to students and school staff
Set up and maintain cafeteria service areas
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
Assist with stocking and organizing food service supplies
Follow school and food service safety procedures
Perform other general cafeteria duties as needed

Requirements

1–2 years of food service experience preferred, but not required
Reliable and able to work a consistent Monday–Friday schedule
Ability to pass the required background check for employment within the public school system

Position Details

$18.00/hour
Approximately 25–30 hours per week
Primarily 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
Monday–Friday daytime schedule
Work within Suffolk County public schools
Consistent schedule that follows the school calendar
