Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Nurse is needed at a specialized inpatient rehabilitation facility in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves providing high-acuity inpatient nursing care on a 12-hour day shift. The position requires a dedicated nurse with inpatient rehabilitation experience to support adults with complex medical needs aiming for optimal recovery and eventual discharge.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting on 07/21/2026
• Required Qualifications: 1+ year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environment; Certification including BLS; Location in Wisconsin preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical Surgical or inpatient rehabilitation settings related to patient acuity
• Float: No, but may be required to float to a satellite inpatient rehabilitation facility within 20 minutes in the near future
• Additional Information: Our inpatient rehab hospital can reach high acuity levels at times and functions similarly to a medical surgical unit. All nurses are required to assist C.N.As and respond to patient call lights to ensure safety. Orientation begins on 01/06/2026, 01/20/2026, and subsequent dates.
