Legal Counsel - Global Funds / Wealth Management

I’m partnering with a leading global alternative investment manager on the appointment of an attorney to join its Global Funds Legal team, with a particular focus on its growing wealth management platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a funds lawyer looking to work at the intersection of f fund formation, product development, fundraising and distribution, supporting sophisticated investment products designed for the private wealth channel. The attorney will work closely with senior members of the legal team and the wider business, advising across the full lifecycle of wealth-focused funds and gaining exposure to both strategic new product initiatives and ongoing fund matters. Key responsibilities will include: Advising on the formation, structuring and launch of wealth-focused investment funds and new products Supporting fundraising initiatives and the development of products for the private wealth channel Preparing and reviewing offering documents and relevant regulatory filings Drafting, negotiating and interpreting LPAs, distribution agreements and other fund documentation Advising on ongoing fund governance and operational matters, including board-related matters Drafting and maintaining policies and procedures relating to wealth-focused funds Reviewing NDAs, letter agreements, resolutions, structure charts and related documentation Working closely with internal stakeholders, senior legal colleagues and external counsel Providing practical, commercially focused advice while balancing legal, regulatory and reputational considerations This would suit an attorney with a strong investment funds / asset management background, either currently in private practice or already in-house, who is interested in gaining broad exposure to a highly sophisticated global investment platform. #J-18808-Ljbffr Simmons & Hanbury
