Mental Health Therapist – Community Mental Health – Davenport, Iowa

• Hours/Week: 40
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Licenses/Certifications: LMHC or LISW in Iowa required; LMSW or Temp LMHC with supervisory requirements may be considered
• Experience: Prior mental health experience preferred

• Pay Package: $42/hr for local candidates within 50 miles of facility and $55/hr for candidates traveling outside 50 miles from facility.

• Conduct intake and evaluation assessments for new clients
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans
• Provide ongoing therapy through individual, group, and family sessions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Participate in staff meetings, case presentations, and special interest groups
• Support trauma-informed care and promote a safe environment
• Uphold all policies, including compliance and ethical standards

Required:

• Master’s degree in a related field
• LMHC or LISW licensure in Iowa
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Prior experience in mental health preferred

Preferred:

• Experience with individual and group therapy
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
