What You'll Do

• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognition, and communication skills for residents in a long-term care setting.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to enhance residents' ability to communicate and understand others.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create personalized therapy programs.
• Monitor and document residents' progress consistently.
• Educate residents and families about treatment goals and strategies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies.
• Contribute to a supportive, patient-focused environment that promotes quality care.

What You Need

• Valid licensure and certifications as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
