What You'll Do:
- Assess residents' needs and develop individualized therapy plans
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve patients' daily living skills
- Collaborate with physical therapist teams to coordinate patient care
- Record and report patient progress to supervising therapists
- Conduct regular evaluations to monitor therapy effectiveness
- Support patients through exercises, gait and balance training, and massage
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility protocols
What You Need:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Texas
- Prior experience in long-term care settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
About the Assignment:
This position is located at a leading facility in Ranger, TX, providing excellent inpatient long-term care services. You will work under the supervision of physical therapists, treating patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions. Your efforts will contribute to improving residents' quality of life and functional independence in a collaborative environment.
