Director Biostatistics - late-phase Virology

Responsibilities
- Lead statistical contributions for late-phase Virology clinical development programs and regulatory submissions
- Serve as Biostatistics Program Lead representing the function on cross-functional teams and with Health Authorities
- Partner with Clinical Development, Data Management, Regulatory Affairs, and other functions on analyses and documentation
- Support study design, protocol development, statistical analyses, and interpretation of clinical trial results
- Oversee statistical activities and quality across assigned clinical studies through internal and external team collaboration
Requirements
- 12+ years experience with bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 10+ years experience with master's degree in relevant field
- 8+ years experience with PhD in relevant field
- Hands-on clinical drug development experience including late-phase trial design and analysis
- Expertise in biostatistics, clinical trial methodology, and industry-standard statistical software
- Understanding of biopharmaceutical development and regulatory environment
- Cross-functional team collaboration and statistical communication skills
Compensation: Bay Area: $226,185–$292,710; Other US locations: $205,615–$266,090
