Director, Biostatistics, Early Phase

Revolution Medicines seeks a Director of Biostatistics for Early Phase to lead statistical oversight of oncology clinical studies. The role involves designing analyses, developing statistical plans, and collaborating across functional teams to support drug development and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead statistician and primary biostatistics representative on oncology study teams
• Design clinical studies and develop statistical analysis plans with cross-functional collaborators
• Provide statistical input for protocol development, regulatory submissions, and health authority responses
• Oversee statistical programming execution and coordinate with data management for database quality
• Contribute to publications, data interpretation, and development of departmental standards and procedures

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Statistics/Biostatistics with 8+ years pharma/biotech clinical trial experience, or M.S. with 12+ years
• Hands-on experience designing and analyzing oncology trials
• Proficiency in SAS and/or R programming
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Competency in advanced statistical methods and real-world problem solving
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills
